2008 ESTATE SHIRAZ

HUON HOOKE, GOURMET TRAVELLER WINE, December/January 2012

Medium-full red colour and an intriguing meaty, spicy and lightly vegetal aroma, with some mellow development starting to creep in. The finish is clean and smooth and the tannins are very appealing. There is a meaty, slightly carnal quality to this wine. Four stars.
